And suddenly, it’s 2025!
I used to feel bad about making a ton of resolutions and then promptly forgetting at least two-thirds of them. Not anymore. Even if I don’t walk 10 miles a day and eat only root vegetables and salmon, at least I’m reminded once a year that I should eat healthy and exercise. Even if I improve a small amount its better than doing nothing, right?
If all goes as planned, I’m about to make a major life change in the next 6 months. Right now, I’m thinking this will be my last year teaching. I’ve spent 21 years in Middle School, and it’s finally time to “graduate”! ☺ I want to spend more time writing, creating, traveling, playing, and reading, and I think now’s the time to do it. This edition of the CRC comes out on the day I share my intentions for next year with RCPS, so they’ll find out about it at the same time you do!
I hope your Christmas was merry and bright! We got to spend time with all the children, their spouses, and (one) significant other, and of course, the grandchildren! It was a glorious, chaotic, and over-stimulating adventure… in other words, the very best kind of celebration.
January 2025 begins year 7 for the Chronicle. How time does fly! We look forward to sharing another 12 months of stories, photos, and puzzles with you! As always, we’re grateful for your encouragement, support, and positive feedback. Thank you!
Happy New Year to you and your family! Stay in touch!
Until next month, be safe, creative, and curious!
