Hello friends,
I’m sitting by the fire in a rather twisted position, trying to accommodate the cat on my lap. It doesn’t much matter to Prudence if she’s being an inconvenience or not. As long as she’s comfortable, all’s right with her world!
Whew! What a busy month! I’ve started practicing for our Christmas Cantata at church, performed four shows of Christmas Belles with the Off Broadway Players (what fun!), and hosted Thanksgiving lunch at our house. I think after this paper goes to press, I’ll take some long winter evenings to catch up on my reading.
I am working on individual thank you cards, but I’d like to give a HUGE shout out to all of you who have supported the Chronicle this month. Many of you have been very generous with your gifts, and we are incredibly grateful. As Gomer Pyle would say, “thank you, thank you, thank you!”
This month marks three years that the Chronicle has been in publication. When the first issue left the press, we had no idea how it would be received. But you have welcomed us with caring hearts and many of you have expressed your appreciation for the Chronicle. I am also grateful for the 17 (sometimes more) writers who share their stories each month. It certainly takes a team effort to make it all possible.
Enjoy the longer evenings of winter. “Hibernate” by the fire and rest up from a long year’s work. Now I need to reposition this cat and put the finishing touches on the rest of the paper! Have a most wonderful Christmas!
Be careful; be safe; be curious!
Tammy
