Learning to read music is really not that hard if you know the basics. It only looks like a secret code or a puzzle that requires solving, but it is truly a complete language all its own. The Musical Alphabet only uses the letters A B C D E F G which repeat over and over as needed. If you know your alphabet A-G, and can count to four, you can read music!
Music notes are written on 5 lines and 4 spaces. This is called a MUSIC STAFF
Always list the lines and spaces from the bottom up
Different clef signs are used for different instruments.
The MUSIC STAFF is divided up by BAR LINES,
into smaller pieces called MEASURES. The DOUBLE
BAR is a musical stop sign at the end of the song.
