Ruritan Happenings: July Festivities
We hope you plan to join the Fulks Run Ruritan Club for one of their annual events this upcoming month!
We invite you to our yard sale on Thursday, July 4. Vendors can mark out their spots beginning Sunday, June 30; the cost is $20 for a 30 by 30 foot spot. The club will be serving breakfast and lunch, which includes fried and cold Turner Ham sandwiches and Fulks Run Chicken BBQ—sold only at the park.
On Saturday, July 20 from 8:00 am-3:00 pm, the club is honored to host the 9th Annual Bill Harter Memorial Truck & Tractor Show at the Fulks Run Ruritan Park. The event is free, but you can register your pickup truck for $15, your tractor for $10, or your commercial truck for $25. Judging starts at 10:00 am. This is always a fun event that features prizes for the best truck, tractor, and pickup trucks as well as plenty of fun games and activities for the children. Food and drinks will also be available.
Finally, you will want to join us for the annual Fulks Run Lawn Party, which will be held July 25, 26, and 27. Our line-up events includes the beauty pageant on Thursday evening, a Car Show and music provided by Raw Country on Friday, and Spencer Hatcher & the Ol’ Son Gang will be performing on Saturday evening. We will also announce our raffle ticket winners on Saturday, July 27. A dime pitch, Bingo, cake wheel, inflatables, and many other activities will be available to enjoy each night. We hope you will come and join us for fun, fellowship, food, and plenty of entertainment!
