About a month ago I received a call from the owner of a 1925 Overland 3 Door car! Yes, that’s right! I don’t know the reason for the 3 doors, but it is interesting. So far, I have not been able to find anything about the reason for this.
This car is about 90% rust with almost no paint anywhere. The owner said the reason for restoring this car was unique. His Great Grandfather bought it new in 1925 and a few years later, he brought his baby daughter, the owner’s grandmother, home from the hospital! Now that is part of what I like about restoring cars! Having a link to the past is important.
Frequently, the restoration of many cars usually costs more than the value of the car at the time. However, many vehicles, if the work is done properly will increase in value over the years.
