I was fortunate enough to see Red Sox left fielder Ted Williams to all of that on September 28, 1958 at the Clark Griffith Stadium in Washington D. C.
This was Williams’ 26th homer of the season, a 7th inning clout that broke a 4-4 time and pushed the Red Sox to a 6-4 win over the Washington Senators.”
