Saturday, February 3, 1923 – The picture, “Inception,” shown tonight at Timberville Theatre. It related to King Henry 8th of England—his deception of his wives. It was interesting historically but tonight little of any lesson.
Thursday, February 8, 1923 – A pie social was held at the school house tonight. It was given by the alumni association. About 30 pies were sold. Total receipts were $68.40.
Saturday, February 24, 1923 – The moving picture, “The Married Flapper,” was shown tonight at the Timberville Theatre. It was short but good.
Monday, February 26, 1923 – Moving picture tonight was given for benefit of alumnae association. The association received half of the gross proceeds which was $21.77. “Strange Idols” was the picture.
Thursday, February 7, 1924 – We held a singing at the Old Folk’s Home from 7:00 – 8:30 o’clock tonight. The singers and inmates all enjoyed the evening.
Friday, February 8, 1924 – The play “Sister Ladies” was given by the ladies of the town and community in the school auditorium tonight. Auditorium really full. The proceeds will be used for the support of the community center, the place where the county nurse stays when she is here.
Saturday, February 16, 1924 – At picture, “Peg O’ My Heart” tonight at Timberville Theatre. It was a simple, good picture.
Monday – February 25, 1924 – I was at pictures, “Why Women Remarry,” at Timberville Theatre tonight. It was good but not many people present.
End of February 1968—Timberville street lights were turned on for the first time.
