Families with preschool children, mark your calendars for New Market Library’s Children’s Storytimes for May, 2022.
Books and Babies: Friday, May 6, 10 am, This program is planned for children ages birth to three. We will be “Celebrating Moms and Dads.”
Preschool Story time: Friday, May 20, 10 am is designed for children ages three to five. The theme will “Celebrating Memorial Day.”
Sneak Peak for June, 2022…The library’s Oceans of Possibilities themed summer reading program will kick off Friday, June 17th with an Outdoor Water Party! A variety of programs for children ages birth to fifth grade and story times are planned throughout the summer. The popular bubble machine from the Pop In party held in March will be returning! Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Shenandoah County Chapter will have a table set up for preschoolers. Reading With the Rebels is scheduled for Thursday, July 7th.
The library is looking for volunteers. We will train qualified applicants. Qualifications include: the ability to work with the public, basic computer ability and dependability.
