I’m officially settling into “cozy mode.” Call it trite, cliché, or even corny, but I love diving into the luxuries of fall—pumpkin spice and all! My reading list always gravitates toward comfort reads, but they lean that way even more when the evenings come early, and the weather turns cold. You just can’t beat curling up by the fire with a blanket, two cats, and a good Agatha Christie!
Some of my other favorite cold weather pastimes include word games (anybody wanna challenge me on Words With Friends? I’m always up for some friendly word slinging!), writing podcasts, and comfort YouTubers (faves include Miranda Mills, Carolyn Crampton, mochibujo, and hippy highland).
My friend, Debbie, asked why I stopped putting in my book review column. Simple answer is that there isn’t any room! ☺ We may eventually expand the CRC by a few pages, but right now, it’s like putting together a jigsaw every month getting all of the articles to fit (I love the challenge, though!)
In this issue we’ve included a list of the places you can pick up the Chronicle. Many of the places that carry the papers are also advertisers, so please make sure to thank them for their sponsorship (they’re the ones who make free papers possible!) And speaking of free, you can now get the electronic version of the paper for free by signing up on our website—
thechimneyrockchronicle.com.
I hope you have a wonderful November! Enjoy the longer evenings and the slower pace. I also wish you and your loved ones a happy Thanksgiving season!
Until next time, keep safe, be kind, and stay curious!
Tammy
