January 1, 1903 – E.M. Minnich was appointed and commissioned as Inspector of Fertilizers for the Seventh district of Virginia by G. W, Koiner, Commissioner of Agriculture of the State of Virginia. This appointment was for one year.
March 7, 1902 – Governor Montague of the State of Virginia appointed Mr. E.M. Minnich as a delegate to the State Good Roads Convention to be held in Richmond on March 21st and 22nd, 1902.
December 16, 1920 – Charles Higgs was dynamiting a ditch for the septic tank at the Lutheran Parsonage.
January 29, 1921 – building Lutheran Parsonage garage among other building materials – 43 pounds of nails – 6 cents per pound.
March 7, 1925 – The movie, “America” by D.W. Griffith was given here tonight at 7:30. Theatre was full.
March 9, 1921 – The moving picture “Her First Elopement” was playing tonight at the Timberville Theater. The movie was good.

Monday, March 25, 1912 – Thomas Helbert began drilling a well for the Creamery in Timberville with his gasoline powered well-drilling machine.
March 19, 1941 – Lester Hoover purchased the old Minnich & Arehart store building from his father to be renovated into a bowling alley. This building is located on the west side of the Southern Railway facing Main Street. It will have four bowling lanes.
March 1, 1924 – “The Courtship of Miles Standish” was playing tonight at the Timberville Theater. It was good. Large number present.
