Hello, Friends,
I hope this issue of the Chronicle finds you happy, healthy, and ready for spring! March is packed full of events this year: Easter, Spring, Daylight Savings Time, St. Patrick’s Day, and – take care if your name happens to be Julius Caesar – The Ides of March!
What things are making you happy these days? I’ve been enjoying evening cuddles with the kittens, British mysteries, board games with friends, and several YouTube channels including The Comfort Book Club with Miranda Mills and Sarra Cannon’s Coffee Chats. I’m also working on writing a cozy mystery novel. If all goes well, it should be ready to go to press by the end of April. If you’d like to join my online newsletter and keep up with my writing news, just email me (trfcullers@gmail.com), or put a note on the word search puzzle (if you send it in!) and I’ll add you to my list. The first newsletter will go out the first of March.
My garden is pretty bare this time of the year. There are a few sprigs of garlic coming up, a couple of mint leaves, and of course the crocuses and daffodils are sprouting. Every year at this time I can’t wait to get my hands into garden dirt. The euphoria lasts until mid-July when the sun is hot and the weeds are high! I bought a vacuum sealer this fall, so hopefully I will put some vegetables in the freezer this year. Ah, these good intentions! ☺
Thanks for reading the stories in the Chronicle. We appreciate your loyalty and kind comments. World and national news continue to be dark and depressing. We hope to bring a little bit of sunshine into your lives – at least once a month!
I hope you enjoy this first month of springtime! We love your notes and emails. Keep in touch and let us know how you’re doing.
Until next time,
Tammy
