–November 7, 1928 – Blanch Landis was appointed as assistant at the Timberville Telephone office replacing Helen Good who resigned and got married.
–June 7, 1943 – 16 people graduated from Timberville High School
–April 11, 1929 – Three orchards from the Floyd Bowman estate were sold to Harry F. Byrd and T.B. Byrd for $62,500. It was a total of 197 acres. One was back close to Crossroads and the other two were near Mechanicsville
–November 28, 1929 – Lester Garber opened a grocery and meat market on Main Street in Timberville.
–November 28, 1929 – There was a great day at Timberville with the countryside turning out to view the first state supervised road buildings to be conducted in Rockingham County.
–1908 – Poultry plant started in 1940. There was a poultry processing plant located at the site of the old Farm Bureau along the railroad tracks.
–April 1909 – Almost 19,000 pieces of mail were delivered from the Timberville Post Office. Large area covered outside Timberville by three rural routes.
–The Zigler Cannery provided 133,000 cases of peaches and applesauce and 30,000 cases of tomatoes to soldiers in WWII.
