Across the road from a stately, white columned manor house, on N. Valley Pike in New Market, is the entry to The Farm and Court Manor.
Look for the big round bale pumpkin person waving you on in!
Autumn has its share of pumpkin farms to choose from, and the kids will love this one! There is a small petting zoo, with Barbara the little goat, some mini donkeys and mini horses, and there are ZEBRAS! The zebras are not part of the petting zoo, but you can admire them over the fence.
Of course, there are pumpkins galore, pumpkin painting for the little ones, games, and rubber duckie races.
You can ride the tractor pulled wagon down to the historic round barn, where there are pedal cars, a zip line, and towering round bales to jump off into a soft cotton seed pit, or slide down a slide.
There is also a 37 acre Zoorama corn maze, commemorating the Zoorama zoo of the late 1950s that used to be on the property now owned by Dave and Jewel Yutzy.
The Farm will be open through the end of October, so be sure to stop by!
