Having grown up in Broadway I am happy to see a long-standing Broadway tradition has been saved! And even more grateful to have been part of the group that contributed, Broadway Hometown Partnership (BHP) has stepped in to fully fund the town’s annual fireworks display, ensuring that the celebration continues in 2025. Today, our Board Members proudly presented a $12,000 check to Mayor Dave Jordan, allowing this cherished event to go on despite financial challenges.
Keeping the Tradition Alive
Even though Broadway’s fireworks aren’t held on the Fourth of July, that’s exactly why we made this commitment—to celebrate our nation’s independence and bring our community together. The fireworks have always been a highlight of the summer, and when we learned they were at risk of being canceled, we knew we had to do something.
The town had to make the necessary and responsible decision to reallocate its fireworks budget to essential services, and we fully support that choice. At the same time, we understand how much this event means to the community. The BHP Board of Directors voted to fully fund the display, ensuring that Broadway will still have a night of fireworks to enjoy.
When we presented the check today, Mayor Dave Jordan thanked us for stepping up for the town, saying, “It makes my heart happy to see that we care enough to do it.”
Who We Are & Why We Do This
For those unfamiliar, Broadway Hometown Partnership is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Unlike town government agencies, we do not receive taxpayer funding—everything we do is made possible through fundraising events, business sponsorships, and private donations.
Our mission is to beautify, develop, and celebrate Broadway by creating a thriving community where people love to live, work, and visit. Whether it’s supporting local businesses, organizing town-wide events, or investing in beautification projects, we are always looking for ways to make a difference.
How You Can Support
This kind of support for the community only happens because of people like you. If you want to see Broadway continue to grow and thrive, here’s how you can help:
- Attend Our Events – Red, White & Brew, Oktoberfest, and other fundraising events directly fund projects like this.
- Make a Donation – Every contribution makes a difference! Donations can be made through [insert donation link or instructions].
- Become a Sponsor – Businesses can support our programs while gaining visibility in the community.
- Volunteer & Champion, a Project – If you want to see more good work happening in Broadway, get involved! We welcome volunteers who want to help with events, community projects, or bring new ideas to life.
This is what Broadway Hometown Partnership is all about—stepping up when the community needs us most. We’re excited to see the sky light up once again next summer and hope to celebrate with all of you under the fireworks!
