On Monday, November 11, our country will honor our veterans at celebrations around the country. Here at Plains Museum, we are honoring the local veterans who gave their lives in defense of our country in a special exhibit “Land That I Love”. The exhibit identifies twenty-four young men from Plains District (or nearby), age nineteen to forty-one, who died during service in foreign wars.
Complete biographical information about each soldier is part of the museum’s exhibit currently on display through December. The following servicemen are included.
