On Nov 6 and 13 Cub Scouts from Pack 1 put in 112 service hrs putting out flyers and collecting food donations from the towns of Broadway and Timberville. Boy Scouts from Troops 1 and 124 assisted them as well.
The haul created 2 huge truck loads that went to Broadway Baptist Food Pantry and Broadway Presbyterian Food Pantry.

In Dec Cub Scouts from Pack 1 are continuing their Community Services.
*On Dec 8, 9, 15 and 16 the various dens are ringing the bell for the Red Kettle Project for the Salvation Army at the Walmart Center in Timberville 6-7pm…Join us.
*On Dec 12 at 2pm, we will be walking in the Broadway Christmas Parade…come wave at us.
*On Dec 18 at 12pm, we will be participating in Wreaths Across America at the Staunton National Cemetery…honoring and remembering those that gave us freedoms for theirs.
*On Dec 7 and 14 at 630pm, we have Den Meetings at Sunset Dr UMC…welcome any interested Kindergarten through 5th graders.
*On Dec 21 at 630pm, we will have our monthly Pack Meeting and Annual Christmas Surprise.
Cub Scouts in Pack 1 serves scouts in the area of Plains ES, Linville-Edom ES, Lacey Spring ES, Fulks Run ES and John C. Myers ES along with homeschool in area.
