I have been proud to call Broadway my home for 25 years where my husband, Ronnie, and I have raised our family.
This community has given so much to me and my family, and I want to give back by serving as a member of Broadway Town Council.
I bring over two decades of hands-on leadership in business and operations, with a track record of delivering results. At the Hartz/Lee Company, right here in town, I led a team of more than 300 employees to national recognition. My professional experience includes developing and managing large capital and expense budgets, boosting productivity while maintaining top quality, and advising plants nationwide on efficiency and performance. I know what it takes to make organizations successful, and I want to apply that same dedication to the future of our town.
My service to the community has always been a priority. I have served as an appointed interim member of Broadway Town Council, and I am currently a member of the Broadway Planning Commission and the Broadway/Timberville Lions Club. I enjoy giving of my time helping with community events and in the past, I was honored to serve as president of the Broadway/Timberville Chamber of Commerce. Each of these roles has given me valuable insight into the needs and concerns of residents, and I have always listened carefully and worked respectfully to find solutions.
As your Town Council member, I will promote transparency and open communication. I will advocate responsible growth while making sidewalks, streets, infrastructure and public safety our top priorities. These are not luxuries, they are essential. I will remain fiscally conservative, ensuring that we manage taxpayer money wisely.
I will advocate for building up our reserves and working with staff to identify additional revenue streams to include revenue from renting out our community center and determining a fair and equitable rate structure for the use of our ball fields for outside tournaments, understanding that these aren’t large revenue streams but nonetheless, potential revenue streams.
I am committed to serving respectfully, thoughtfully and effectively. I will always listen to your concerns and use your input to guide my decisions, just as I have done on the Planning Commission and during my time as an interim council member. Together, we can make sure Broadway continues to thrive.
It would be a privilege to have your vote in November 2025.
