The Broadway-Timberville Ruritan Club held the February 10 meeting at the Broadway Emergency Squad. The meal was served by the Squad Auxiliary. President James Driver called the meeting to order.
President Driver gave a report of his recent attendance to the 2025 Ruritan National Convention in Greenville SC. Secretary Diane Driver read the minutes of the January meeting and treasurer Tina Showalter presented the treasurer’s report. Both were approved as presented. Vice President Kyle Showalter called for the committee reports. Finance reported pork sandwich orders were due and chicken BBQ dates were announced, Mar 15, Apr 12, May 31, and June 21.
The club voted to donate the March chicken BBQ profits to the Carolyn Cook Memorial Scholarship Fund. In other business the club donated $1250 to the BHS TSA club to support their projects and voted on and installed 2 new members Al Lilliendahl and Steve Judd.
The club tabled a request for support to purchase new chairs for BHS until more information is available. With no further business the meeting was adjourned.
