In the 1920s, Ethel Hoover was postmistress in Timberville for 16 years at the old post office. She was a daughter of Dr, Vaughn
Ike Acker’s Donut Shop started in 1946 right down the road.
Timberville had 302 people in 1930 and 271. Neff’s Egg house business moved into the old creamery building after the bowling alley fire because the egg house also partly burned.
November 1947—Bill Garber opened the Mobile Service Center where the Exxon is located.
Broadway-Timberville Chamber of Commerce started in 1958.
The Southern Railway was started in 1898.
